Background

Our client is an international banking corporation providing financial services to millions of customers worldwide. Their UK portfolio comprises over 1,400 branches and office blocks which accommodate thousands of staff and members of the public on a daily basis. With so many sites and employees it is important to ensure the relevant preventive control measures to ensure the health safety of all.

Contract Mobilisation

All sites and assets were added to our online electronic system for domestic water monitoring. This system schedules, controls and monitors all jobs by creating an electronic log. Our client receives several benefits from using this online system including the immediate availability of reports, notification of outstanding non-conformances (which can be downloaded in excel format) that can be viewed at any time and an overview of scheduled jobs. The advantage of using the online system means that we can work closely alongside our client and make the contract run smoothly and efficiently.

Contract Specification

Within this contract, we are responsible for the following tasks:

  • Monthly temperature monitoring of hot and cold sentinel outlets and a percentage of representative outlets to ensure all are covered over the year
  • Monthly temperature monitoring of calorifier flow and return temperatures
  • Quarterly showerhead clean, descale and disinfections
  • Quarterly analysis of closed system water
  • Six-monthly Pseudomonas sampling from the closed system
  • Annual cold water storage tank temperatures and inspections
  • Annual calorifier blowdowns and inspections
